More Super Bowl news… apologies for those not into it, but this Sunday it seems nothing else matters :)
Rolling Stones’s held their Super Bowl party and merged the (oft) separate worlds of sports, music, film and television. Read on for the deets about who was there, who played, and what went down at this partay…

Indianapolis was rocking this weekend… Lupe Fiasco, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship and LMFAO all played at the Rolling Stones soiree. Rolling Stones reported on the party this morning saying that…

Between high-energy sets from Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Lupe Fiasco and LMFAO, guest DJ Taryn Manning lowered from the ceiling in a specially constructed scaffolding, bringing her eye-level with a crystal chandelier featuring several dangling electric guitars. Below, hundreds of attendees sipped Bacardi mojitos and puffed on complimentary hand-rolled La Gloria Cubana cigars in the recently converted warehouse less than a football field away from the towering Lucas Oil Stadium.

When I read about this super cool party what made me smile was hearing about Lupe Fiasco jokingly asking the crowd “Who’s playing tomorrow?” as if to imply that no one was there for the sports game itself. He sang some of his famous anthems like “Kick, Push”, “State Run Radio” and “I Don’t Want to Care Right Now” and apparently brought the house down.

It sounds like the kind of party I would have loved to have been at. Mingling with sport stars was musicians and actors… reports say that John Hamm from Mad Men, partied the night away alongside quarterbacks. I personally would have been way more excited to see John that a big sports guy, but that’s just me. Still, this would have been one cool party to have been invited to.
