Billy Bob Thornton’s Daughter May Get Up To 30 Years In Prison

This whole thing is sad.

Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter will not get a chance at retrial.

Earlier this year Amanda Brumfield was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter of a 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia.

We just got word that the judge denied her request for a new trial. Amanda may get up to 30 years in prison at her October 6 sentencing.

As a recap, Billy Bob's daughter claimed that while she was babysitting the child "was trying to climb out of a playpen and hit her head," but the defense argued that the fall might have aggravated "a previous injury," which could have caused the infant's death.

Something weird: Amanda Brumfield’s trial took place in the same courthouse where Casey Anthony’s trial was held.

Guess they're not letting all child killers get off that easily...
