Oh lord … here we go … if y’all thought that Saturday Night Live was in bad shape before (with week after week of lame skits and unfunny jokes) then you’re gonna LOVE this bit of info I have to share today. Alec Baldwin, one of the stars of 30 Rock, happened to come upon some inside info in the SNL studios and is blabbing today that Justin Bieber is among the celebs who will be hosting SNL in the coming weeks and months (you may recall that The Biebs was the musical guest on SNL back in April of 2010). Alec Baldwin just did something that would certainly anger his 30 Rock character, NBC exec Jack Donaghy: He leaked official network intel. On today’s episode of Baldwin’s “Here’s The Thing” podcast on WNYC, the 30 Rock actor delves in deep with Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels, and in the process, reveals that Justin Bieber will host SNL in the upcoming months. Setting the scene at Michaels’ office, Baldwin reads off some of the names that appear on a board of confirmed SNL hosts this season. Among them is the Biebs, who previously served as the musical guest in April 2010 (and popped by for a Church Lady skit and a digital short last February) but has never hosted the show. Michaels confirms Baldwin’s announcement with a yes, 26 minutes into the podcast. Baldwin innocently notes: “The biggest names in the business are coming here thirty-something years [after SNL's debut] to host the show. Ben Stiller, Melissa McCarthy, [who] won the Emmy award, and Katy Perry’s coming and Jimmy Fallon, who’s double-dipping on your payroll, Jonah Hill, and I don’t want to ruin any other names, [but] Bieber’s confirmed, he’s the music and the [host].” If this is true (NBC has not yet confirmed), Bieber will follow in the footsteps of fellow pop star host Katy Perry, who took the comedy reigns this past December. Bieber showed off his acting chops (if you want to call them that) with a minor guest spot on CSI on the 2010-2011 season. Next up on the SNL slate is host Zooey Deschanel with musical guest Bon Iver on Feb. 4, followed by Channing Tatum with musical guests Karmin on Feb. 11.

HMMMM. I’m always looking forward to having any NUMBER of celebrity guests host the show but … Bieber? I dunno. My gut tells me he will make a terrible host but, then again, he’s young and feisty … he might actually surprise us all and turn out to be a great host. I suppose we shouldn’t get our panties in a wad until we know for sure that he will be hosting but … I gotta know … what do y’all think about this? While they've been promoting the hell out of their new movie together The Words at the Park City, they've tried with all their might to avoid being caught together or being asked about the status of their lurve. But perhaps the altitude in Utah is getting to their lovesick hearts because it seems the pair have decided to make their romance VERY public!

Sources at the Sundance Film Festival reveal that Zoe and Brad were seen "kissing in front of the fire and being very affectionate," confirming that they are "very together." Another eyewitness caught sight of the couple in an intense conversation, with the "electricity" between them feeling "out of this world"

The rock offspring is dating someone who also has rock'n'roll in their life!

"Kelly is dating Matthew Mosshart," sources confirm exclusively to us. Matthew is a chef and also happens to be the brother of Allison Mosshart from the band The Kills, which features Kat Moss' husband.

And, what's more, we are told that the pair have been dating since July of last year!!!

"They met at Kate Moss' wedding and are very much in love," an insider tells us. "Kelly has learned from her previously relationships and wanted to keep this one quiet for as long as possible. She's never been happier!"

Another source tells us, "Matthew is the first guy Kelly has ever brought home that every single one of her friends and family like. And he's also the first boyfriend with whom she's had a close relationship with his family and likes too."

So sweet!

Things sounds like they couldn't be better for Kelly O right now!

But what does Simon Cowell have to say about the X Factor bloodbath?? A LOT of people have been wondering how he could fire close-friend Paula (not that he hasn't done something similar before, heyyy Chezza)!

Welp! Here he goes:

I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole and Steve for being part of The X Factor last year.

We had a lot of fun making the show together and importantly, we found some real talent and stars. You do develop friendships with the people you work with and Paula, in particular, is a very close friend and I expect to be working with her on another project in the near future.

I'm sure all three are going to have massive success in what they do next, but now is the time to thank them all for everything they did last year.

Ugh!! Not juicy at all!! But professional... gotta give him that!!

Like we discussed before, we HIGHly doubt firing Paula was the highlight of his day, but he's known to put business first! And if better business means bringing in some fresh faces, then so be it!!

Earlier today we learned that Simon Cowell made the executive decision to fire Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones from The X Factor and right now we get to read his just released official statement on the firings. Simon‘s statement is short but is full of thank yous and love … but no sign of apologies. Simon maintains that he plans on working again with Paula Abdul on a new project in the future. Paula, for her part, has been very magnanimous about her very public axing from The X Factor. I dunno, tho … it seems like if I were Paula Abdul, I’d shy away from working with Simon Cowell in this kind of capacity again. How much of this kind of thing can one person take from their “friend”? Here is what Paula has to say about her X Factor firing:

See what I mean? Paula is being magnanimous to a fault … well, at least publicly. Man, I just can’t help but feel so sorry for poor Paula. I guess we’ll have to see where she goes from here … and we’ll have to wait and see what the new face of The X Factor will look like come season 2.

While we were SHOCKED to see Paula Abdul as one of those fired from X Factor, we weren't so surprised to see Nicole Scherzinger get the boot.

In fact, we expected it.

After the horrible decision to put Rachel Crow and Marcus Canty into a deadlock, we knew then and there she just wasn't fit to be a judge!

And now Nicole has spoken up on getting the ax!! She tweets:

I wanted to let you know directly from me that it's true I won't be returning to The X Factor. Looking forward to an exciting year ahead and making great music and more! I'm grateful for the love you always give me.

Well good for her!! We were always excited about the music!!

Doesn't sound like she's all that worried about it. She probably doesn't care anymore. We all saw it comin!!

Can't wait to see what she does in her new spare time!! What do U think she should do??
