Washington has moved one step closer to becoming the next state to support marriage equality!

The House Judiciary Committee passed its gay marriage bill today with a 7-6 vote.

The vote was split straight down the party lines, with 7 Democrats voting yes and 6 Republicans voting no.

Republicans tried to amend the bill three times. One amendment suggested would have allowed private businesses and individuals to an religious exemption.

The bill now moves to a fiscal commitee while the Senate will have a full vote tomorrow.

The current count of votes believes the bill will pass!

Good luck, Washington!

We hope he knows what he is doing!

Teresa Giudice's husband Joe from Real Housewives of New Jersey made a risky move in court today that could find him behind bars for the next ten years. Joe decided to reject a plea deal offered in his fraud and impersonation trial and pled not guilty to the case against him.

If he had taken the deal, he would have only gotten five years in prison for the crime, half the sentence he is facing now if a guilty verdict is brought down on him.

Wow. He better have a real sound defense against these charges. Otherwise, those beautiful girls of his are going to grow up without him -- and that would be really sad.

Broadway just got another baybay!

Raven-Symoné will be taking over the reins as the lead of Sister Act. The actress will replace Patina Miller as Deloris Van Carter, the role Whoopi played in the two Sister Act films.

Raven returns to Broadway after making her debut at age 5 in the Harlem Boys Choir.

Rehearsals begin in late February and Raven will be committed to Sister Act for at least six months.

Yo go, gurl! Who's ready for Raven to join the Sisterhood?!

Detroit rocker Jack White, of the White Stripes, The Raconteurs and the Dead Weather, is going solo. White has announced the forthcoming release of his solo debut album Blunderbuss in April and this week has released his debut solo single Love Interruption. According to White himself, the collection of songs on Blunderbuss are completely new compositions … that is, they are not left over tracks from his work with the White Stripes, The Raconteurs or any of his many other collaborations. This solo album comes from him alone. Click below to read more about Jack‘s upcoming solo debut and listen to his new single Love Interruption in full.

We’ve seen Jack White do a lot of things. First came the White Stripes, of course, and then the seemingly endless list of side projects and collaborations, some (The Raconteurs, Loretta Lynn, Wanda Jackson, the Dead Weather, John C. Reilly) better than others (okay, mostly just Insane Clown Posse). We’ve even seen the man take home an elephant head! This spring, though, we’ll get see him do something new: go solo. White announced today that he’ll be releasing his solo debut Blunderbuss on April 24 via Third Man Records, the label/record store/recording studio he runs out of Nashville. “I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time, but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name,” White says of the record. “These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.” And if his album’s very, very good lead single is any indication, Blunderbuss will be worth the wait.

I am a huge Jack White fan. I’ve been loving the White Stripes for many, many years … way back when they used to play free shows at The Gold Dollar in downtown Detroit. That said, I think my fave of his groups is The RaconteursJack paired with fellow Detroit rocker Brendan Benson is just the best thing ever. I must admit, tho, I am curious to hear what his solo stuff will sound like. I don’t expect it to be vastly different from the sound he is already known for so, that’s comforting. I suspect there may be a collaboration or two on Blunderbuss but, then again, mebbe not. At this point, I’m intrigued … and curious to hear more. Any Jack White fans in the hiz? What do you think of his plans to go solo?

Obviously, our heart breaks that she endured all of this, but if there's anything positive that can come from this whole tragedy, it's the information that is now available to audiences that many might normally have a difficult time understanding.

On last night's reunion episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Taylor Armstrong and her co-stars openly discussed the horrific physical and emotional abuse she was subjected to at the hands of her husband Russell, who killed himself last August, and even after everything, the reality star still discusses the mixed emotions she has since his passing, and even asserts that she still loves him.

Ch-ch-check out the powerful segment (above)!

If anything, we really commend these ladies for speaking so candidly about their confusion regarding her situation, and Taylor for explaining what exactly goes in the cycle of an abusive relationship - and why for some, it's so difficult to leave.

You and little Kennedy remain in our thoughts, gurl.

Oooh LiLo!!

We guess some habits die hard, LOL!! Or do they??

Eyewitnesses are coming forward, telling Hollywood they saw a red-nosed Lindsay Lohan showcasing the classic signs of pAArty-poppin at Chateau Marmont!

According to them:

Lindsay was spotted going to the restroom with a male companion on numerous occasions in a short amount of time. When the two of them emerged from the bathroom, Lindsay was giggling and her nose appeared red.

Lindsay was spotted only drinking water in the lounge area, but she appeared to be loaded on something, and she seemed under the influence. Lindsay's eyes were glassy and her pupils were constricted.

She was definitely on something. She was slurring her words, and needed help walking at one point in the course of the night.

Lindsay was sitting on a chair adjacent to Harvey Weinstein's party - his was roped off and she didn't get past the rope. So she sat on the other side looking over. She looked bedraggled and desperate.

Sigh. We really, really wish these were just lies, made up by some jealahos. But with her track record, it's hard NOT to believe it!!

Another one bites the dust!

Paul Brittain, who has been a featured player on Saturday Night Live since September of 2010, has left the sketch comedy series, and will not even be sticking around long enough to say good-bye on the Channing Tatum-hosted episode airing this weekend!

According to an insider:

"He had the opportunity to pursue other projects, and he and the show parted ways amicably.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah - that's what they all say!

However, unless he landed some starring role in a new pilot, this seems a little sudden to us!

Wonder what went down behind-the-scenes! What do U think??

"Perez Hilton: All Access" featuring @KatyPerry airs TONIGHT at 8 PM on MuchMusic!!! Watch! Watch! Watch!!!

Can you say - trying too hard?! Wow!

While at a campaign rally this week in Florida, presidential hopeful Mitt Romney decided to flex his pipes and patriotism for his voters and led his supporters an rousingly awkward performance of American the Beautiful.

More like America the Tone Deaf. What key are you, Romney? And why did you think singing this song would put you in the same vein as Barack Obama? His song choice was cool and relevant. Your's was desperate and off-key!

If you feel like offending your ears today with a little forced campaigning, check out the video (above)!!!

Awkward!!!!
