Next month Emma Watson can be seen in the final Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows Pt. 2, but today we get to see the beautiful young actress as a work of art … litterally. Artist Mark Demsteader has found inspiration in muse Emma Watson and has painted her likeness in a few differnet portraits. Check out some of them below.

She is more commonly subjected to the glare of the camera and red carpet flashbulb. But Emma Watson’s image has been captured on canvas by figurative artist Mark Demsteader. She is the star of his current exhibition ‘Emma’ at Panter and Hall, a London gallery that specialises in British contemporary art. The actress and model originally spotted Mark’s artworks on a trip home to Oxford and decided to buy a drawing as a present to herself for her 21st birthday this April. After exchanging emails Emma agreed to collaborate on a series of works, which are now being exhibited and sold for prices ranging from £3,000 to £8,000. Mark used photographs from a North London photo shoot he arranged with the young actress earlier this year to create the portraits. ‘I was slightly hesitant at first, not because I didn’t want to work with Mark, but simply because I wasn’t sure if I was comfortable with an entire exhibition of pictures of me! ‘I am thrilled with how they have come out; they are beautiful. Mark is so talented – I wish I had a fraction of his skill!’ Emma told Vogue. A mix of mediums have been used including pastel, collage, ink and oil paint to create over 30 pieces. As a thank you the artist, whose career has flourished over recent years presented Emma with a painting of her choice. Mark, who is based in Manchester said: ‘It has been a wonderful privilege to work with Emma on these images. ‘I wanted to capture a moment in time, and by making each piece a quick snapshot.
‘In some way I hope these works celebrate Emma in what she has achieved already, and in all the many possibilities to come.’ The works of art are available to buy and the exhibition closes tomorrow. With most of the paintings already sold, Mark has also released a print of one of his portraits of Emma for £125. Ten per cent of the profits going to CAMFED International, a charity which supports young women in Africa.

These paintings are beautiful. I love them all. I’m very impressed that Emma has given this artist her seal of approval AND that a charity print is being offered for sale. I honestly wouldn’t mind hanging one of these masterpieces in my home. They’re so cool, aren’t they?

And he certainly sounds as though he's done a lot of research on the subject...but we have to think there's got to be a better way to make a point than attacking a publication over a social networking site!

Maybe try to schedule a meeting next time to explain your cause? What he's doing is so important, we wouldn't want it to get lost in the drama of a Twitter feud!

During a recent interview, Elijah Wood spoke about The Hobbit, and it sounds like he's VERY excited about it!

Here's what he had to say about the epic film:

"I read the first script and it's incredible. It definitely expounds upon the book; there are already characters that are cast that are not in the book, so that indicates that it goes slightly outside the boundaries in the structure of the original novel."

Here are a couple of other highlights from his interview:

- He said filming scenes for The Hobbit would be "like going back to a giant family reunion"

- He hasn't seen the script for the second film, and doesn't know how it will end

We can't wait! Tell us more, Elijah! Don't be a tease!!!

Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino reportedly was spotted storming out of the GTL's kids Seaside Heights estate today, screaming that he wanted off the show for good. He apparently got into a rahter huge blow out with his roommates and is demanding he be allowed to go home. An insider reveals that he stripped off his mic pack and "forced [producer] to give him back his phone to go home.]

Supposedly after storming out of the house, he returned but only to get the rest of his stuff. When reached for comment, all MTV would say was:

“We don’t comment on series while they are in production but viewers can be assured they will have answers when Season Five premieres.”

How diplomatic!

We wouldn't worry about Vinny peacing out. Whatever their issues are, we're sure the guido and guidettes will make amends. How will they be MVP without the "V"???

A Perezcious reader sent us in this HIGHlarious little encounter she had with Stephanie Pratt, whom she ran into at the Natasha Bedingfield concert last night in El Lay!

They write:

"So I spotted her last nite at the Natasha Bedingfield concert (which was fitting because she sung the song for The Hills). I KNOW it was her. I came up to her and said 'Is your name Stephanie?' and she said, 'NO.' I said, 'You look JUST like Stephanie Pratt.' She goes, 'I get that all the time...'"

Christina Aguilera aint goin' nowhere!

The diva and star judge of The Voice has signed on for season two of the amped up American Idol cousin.

Rumors had been swirling that she wasn't going to come back due to supposed drama behind the scenes, but nope! She wants to come back and we're betting she wants to win this time.

Last night, in the very first Voice finale, Javier Colon won it all. Colon, who ranked #2 on the iTunes charts on Wednesday was judge Adam Levine's mentee.

Christina makes $225,000 an episode while the other three judges on board make $75,000.

With money like that, we would guess she plans on staying for a while. That and despite her momentary zone outs, she seems to really enjoy being a part of the show. During the finale she tweeted:

This is IT!!! Congrats to all my fellow coaches and their teams for making it this far and for all your hard work! We all deserve to win.

As for the other judges, Levine has said he would love to come back if asked. No official word yet from Cee-Lo Green or Blake Shelton.

We can't wait for more entertaining Xtina moments!

UPDATE:

It's official!

NBC has just confirmed that all four judges - Xtina, Cee Lo, Adam, AND Blake - will all be back when the series resumes midseason next year!

According to Paul Telegdy, of Alternative Programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios:

“We look forward to building Season 2 and making The Voice an even greater experience for fans.”

Yes! Yes! Yes!
