Last night, Tom Hanks confessed a dirty little secret to Jimmy Kimmel. Turns out the Oscar-winning actor has a full-time gig on the side for when he isn't making movies - the pageant circuit!

Yes, it's true! Tom Hanks is a stage dad. In fact, he's so into it, he's landed himself in the holy land of pageant parents:

Peter Weller, the actor who played RoboCop in the 1987 film RoboCop, caught wind of plans by fans to fund the creation of a RoboCop statue for display in the city of Detroit, MI. As a result, Weller — as RoboCop — has filmed a message for the people of Detroit about plans for the statue.

Did you think it was going to be that easy, Stan? Did you really think you were going to walk away without any backlash?!

Tsk, tsk! It's like you don't know the man at all!

Shortly after publicist Stan Rosenfield announced he was resigning as Charlie Sheen's publicist in an effort to save his own reputation, Charlie told sources that he's uber-pissed about this betrayal. Actually, what he told sources was:

"P**sy. He's not allowed to quit, so you’re fired."

Um, ok then. Either way, he's out, which at the end of the day, is probably all that matters to him.

Billy Crystal gave Anne his approval after last night's Oscars!

Many people are saying the the hosting wasn't up to par, but we did find it a bit entertaining and thought that the duo did a pretty decent job!

Anne was especially excited to get the Crystal seal:

“That felt really good. I didn’t realize I was doing it for [Crystal’s praise,] but it turns out I was because my heart just exploded,” the actress said. “We rehearsed together… the first thing I did was kneel before [Crystal,] and take his hand and the second thing I did was [ask him,] ‘Tell me what to do,’ and he said, ‘Just look like you want to be there every single second that you are on camera.’ I’m like, ‘Well, I got that part in the bag,’ because this whole thing has been such an amazing adventure and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now.

“I was working with the loveliest people, it was the most effortless collaboration that it never felt like work,” Anne continued. “I really mean it, it was an adventure. And I was so curious what was going to happen next, I had no idea what I was doing, so I was just really curious.”

Awww, it's fab to see that she had such a good time!

We could absolutely tell that she was having a blast up there, too!

Here's what she had to say about her partner in crime:

“I’m in love with James Franco. The world is in love with James Franco right now. He’s wonderful, and thank God for him. He’s so original, he’s doing his own thing and he doesn’t care about what anyone thinks about him, I really look up to him.”

We're in love with him too, though, we think he was under-utilized last night! It was almost if they were holding him back on purpose!!

We did laugh pretty hard when he congratulated the technical Oscar winners as 'nerds' though!

Maybe this will finally put the situation to rest.

Last week, there was a stir when Katy Perry made some comments about product-placement in music videos that were misconstrued as insults directed at Britney Spears and her latest video for Hold It Against Me.

While attending the Oscars last night, Russell Brand was asked what he thought of the issue and like a dutifully hubby, he defended his wife's honor, saying:

"I think those things are made up in the papers and the media to distract people from our spirituality and the truth, and it distracts us from the way the economic situation of the world keeps certain people trapped on this plateau. Let's all rise up and join together. Unite!"

Quite true, but you can't deny that the timing of her comments and the release of Brit-Brit's video is pretty questionable.

Still, he has a point. More important things to worry about. Let's let bygones be bygones with this, huh!

Last year it was Farrah Fawcett, this year Corey Haim. Who's in charge of this???

Last night, during the Oscar's In Memoriam segment, several key Hollywood players weren't recognized while Celine Dion sing sweetly in honor of those who had passed away this year. Among them was Don Peterman (director, Footloose, Men In Black, Splash), Monica Johnson (writer and frequent collaborator with Albert Brooks) and perhaps most notably, Corey.

What an oversight! Don't even tell us no one at the Academy has seen Lucas!

Such a shame.

P.S. - If you've never seen Lucas, its worth an add to your Netflix queue. It might be the only movie in existence where Charlie Sheen appears to be completely sober from beginning to end.

Last Friday evening, Kelsey Grammer and his mistress-turned-fiancée Kayte Walsh got married in a lavish ceremony on Broadway at the Longacre Theater in NYC, NY. Today, TMZ brings us video from inside Kelsey and Kate‘s wedding reception where the groom serenaded his blushing bride with a mournful rendition of the song What Kind of Fool Am I? Oh, then the vid cuts to Kelsey dancing on the dancefloor. Ready to cringe? Read on.

Rumor has it Kelsey Grammer doesn’t have a prenup with his new bride Kayte Walsh — which makes his song choice at his wedding kind of ironic … “What Kind of Fool Am I?” TMZ obtained video of the wedding reception on Friday — and in another possible bit of foreshadowing, the new couple also danced to “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.” Like Notorious B.I.G. said … mo’ money, mo’ problems.

Awwww … I mean, I don’t know anyone who is all gung-ho about this marriage except for Kelsey and Kayte themselves but … it looks like they had themselves a very nice wedding. The singing isn’t great and the dancing is atrocious … so it was a typical wedding reception :) Congrats, again, to the happy couple. May this be the last marriage for the both of them … tho, I doubt it.

Slowly but surely, information on the new season of Dancing With The Stars is trickling out, and we now know three MORE contestants set to appear on the new season of the reality competition!

Joining the already-revealed Kirstie Alley, Wendy Williams, and Kendra Wilkinson will be WWE star Chris Jericho, Lil' Romeo, and Disney's Chelsea Kane!

Not as exciting as the first list, but we imagine the last five contestants will be EPIC!

We have a feeling about this season!

Watch out, Chris Martin! Looks like your wifey wants to take a shot at the music industry as well!

After doing her music thing at the Oscars, and at quite a few other venues recently, it looks like Gwyneth Paltrow is ready to give the whole singing thing a more serious try.

Here's what Paltrow had to say about her potential record deal while on the red carpet at the Oscars:

“We’re talking about it now. So, we’ll see.”

We've been impressed with Gwyn's musical efforts as of recent, but we're not 100% sure how we feel about her taking this major step.

If she's passionate about it, and really wants to give it a try, then we wish her the best, but we like her as an actress, and we're thinking it'd be a bit of a shame if she stopped taking on new acting projects to focus solely on music.
