Responding to reports from this morning that Lindsay Lohan isn't in compliance with her probation, Shawn Chapman Holley, LiLo's lawyer, insisted that her client hasn't violated any of her court ordered requirements, including attending alcohol education classes.

LiLo's attorney told sources:

"Though there have been occasional weeks when Lindsay has missed her alcohol treatment class, she has always managed to make up the class the following week by attending two classes.

For this reason, we contend that Ms. Lohan is in substantial compliance with the conditions of her probation."

Only one way to settle this one - ROLL CALL!

Warner Bros. scheduled July 20, 2012, as the release date for the next installment of the Batman film franchise.

The Cullen family is finally getting their evil vamp on in the upcoming movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Peter Facinelli who plays Carlisle Cullen says that "this time around, you get to see their true vampire-ness."

Ashley Greene, who usually plays the sweet and bubbly sister to R-Patz's Edward Cullen talks about how her character will have a darker side, saying, "Alice gets a little edgier with each installment. It's a reminder to the audience that even though we restrain ourselves at times, we're still vampires and we're dangerous."

Esme Cullen, played by Elizabeth Reaser will have a bigger role in this installment. "It was interesting to get in touch with the vampire side of her in ways that haven't really been explored. Her family is in danger and that brings out the mama bear in her."

Aretha Franklin canceled her headlining performance at the New Orleans Jazz Fest only 10 hours before she was due to go on!

Luckily Earth Wind & Fire took her place at the last minute, but this is the SECOND time Aretha backed out of a performance at Jazz Fest since she canceled her show in 2009, too!

We don't think she'll get booked for that gig again — but we doubt she cares either!

My friends, my comrades, my compatriots … please forgive me for what I am about to show you. The folks promoting Sex and the City 2 have released a third movie poster which, on the positive side, features all of the SaTC ladies (not just Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw). On the negative side, the ladies appear to be Photoshopped TO DEATH in this new poster … which words cannot even describe:

I mean … this looks pretty bad. If I were Kim Cattrall (who plays the blonde Samantha Jones), I’d sue! They didn’t even use her face in this poster! It’s just … terrible. I’m really stunned that shoddy retouching like this was able to pass muster and be OKed for release of a movie of this magnitude. I am still very excited to see the film but if this is the type of workmanship that is being applied to other promo materials, I don’t think I need to see any other posters. This one will haunt my nightmares just fine. Yikes!
